Project Statement
The task was to create a simplistic brand design and design functional packaging. In here I incorporated my favorite food (sushi) and dove into my investigation. To begin the process I created a brand named Warrior Sushi or "senshi", the logo for this company is the word in Japanese.
GOAL
This design needs to be not only functional, but modern and related to the company and the product inside it. And with the goal of the packaging being part of the experience I created various branding materials including a mascot and patterns.
Solution
We have an easily recognizable brand & we create attractive visuals to build a brand connection with the product.
INSPIRATION
For the packaging itself, the concept is based on the traditional tables used in Japan called Chabudai, the idea is that it could be used as a miniature table for your sushi. I prototyped a few models but ultimately decided on this one. I then created the design in illustrator and the mockup using blender.
