During my time with acomerpr, I was contracted to establish a robust social media presence with two primary goals. The first objective was to legitimize the non-profit by updating all social media platforms and ultimately increase the donations received. The second goal was to expand the organization's social media following, thereby creating a new source of volunteers and micro-donations. I successfully achieved both of these objectives within the specified time frame. Initially, I was also tasked with fixing and setting up the company's website using WordPress. However, due to time constraints, I was asked to subcontract this aspect of the project. Despite this, the overall outcomes were highly successful. Throughout the project, my responsibilities included attending meetings to understand the company's goals and content production strategy. I then utilized this information to lead impactful social media campaigns. To efficiently manage the social media posts, I employed a scheduling software and ensured a consistent frequency of three posts per week. In addition to managing the social media presence, I took charge of updating and refreshing all donation pages with fresh and engaging content. This strategy played a key role in enhancing the overall branding and marketing efforts of the organization. The results of the project were outstanding. We achieved a remarkable 300% increase in followers, with the follower count rising from 50 to an impressive 1500 followers, all achieved organically within just six months. In conclusion, my role in establishing and managing acomerpr's social media presence was instrumental in legitimizing the non-profit, boosting donations, and attracting new volunteers and micro-donations. I am proud of the successful outcomes and the positive impact we were able to make for the organization.
